NYNAS NS 3 is a unique oil suitable for application in aviation hydraulic fluids due to its low viscosity at low temperatures. NYNAS NS 3 can also be used in other hydraulic fluids formulations, especially in low temperature hydraulic fluids. It is suitable as well for some metalworking fluids formulations such as aluminium cold rolling fluids.
NYNAS NS 3 has excellent low temperature properties, such as very low pour point as well as low viscosity at low temperatures. Having a relatively high degree of refining it possesses a low aromatic content, while providing good solvency.
NYNAS NS 3 is a hydrotreated naphthenic base oil, classified as an API Group V base oil.
